The Core-Idea Rewrite Is Finished
Reached the end of the necessary-idea rewrites. The rest of the ideas have little effect on the core framework, since they're mostly plugin ideas that just rely on the framework.
But here near the end of that rewrite, I feel like the AI got to a point where it seemed to want to get 'everything' poured into the atomic notes that they stopped feeling like atomic notes, but more like a full on manual in each of them. The past many notes ended up being several thousand lines long, because it also filled in function options and many more details. It's probably gold for when coding starts, but still feels like it went rather much overboard.
Im unsure how that happened. The instructions have not been significantly altered. I may just have missed some cues about how complex these last core functions just are.
Designing the Next Note Structure
But that is also something this next bout of rewriting should get straight, by finding a new way of formatting of the notes or maybe a full on-new note structure with subnotes for all the more technical details, so we dont clog up the main note. This new structure should also be built with the AI-human work processes in mind, so we only extract information from the notes as is needed in each situation.
What Comes Next
I guess I'll need to spend a few hours discussing this new structure with the AI and once that has been fully settled and we're both happy with the result, I have to get the 9200 line powershell restructured to handle BOTH this new structure AND the old structure, because once I start rewriting all the existing notes, I need to be able to extract both types of notes for AI processing.
Then I have to do a full review of the AI idea-rewrite instructions so we dont continue to create superlarge notes for the rest of the old plugin-ideas.
Which Rewrite Comes First?
Finally I have to choose which I will do first:
- rewrite the rest of the old ideas after the new method, or;
- rewrite all the current atomic notes to the new structure.
I'm leaning toward rewriting the old ideas first. There's "only" 11.000 lines to go (650 thousand characters), where the current 657 atomic notes takes up about 2.6 MB (2.6 million characters), so about 4+ times more.
May wait till tomorrow, since today is almost over.
Anyway.. it's time for another AI reset before that bundle of fun starts!
