What it is

Agnostic Knowledge is building a shared library of real-world things and the relationships between them. It can record that timber becomes boards, boards can become wheel parts, and an iron tyre can strengthen a wooden wheel—without deciding how many coins, clicks or skill points a game should charge.

Why it matters

Games and other projects repeatedly need the same background knowledge: what something is made from, what processes or tools it needs, when it appeared, where it is found, and what alternatives exist. Researching those connections separately for every project wastes effort and makes contradictions more likely. AK aims to research them once, keep their identities stable, and let many consumers reuse them.

How someone might use it

A simple survival game might ask only for broad resource families. A production game might ask for major components and processes. A historical simulation might also need tools, skills, approximate dates, places, uncertainty and source information. All three can start from the same knowledge and choose a suitable level of detail. Game rules, balance, fictional substitutions and player discoveries still belong to the game.

Where it stands today

The structure, research method and early knowledge batches are still being built and tested. Coverage is uneven, many subjects are incomplete, and AK is not presented as a finished encyclopedia or a scientific certification service. We work from the top down so broad, useful connections arrive before exhaustive detail, then refine them as stronger or more specific evidence appears.

This public site explains the project and its method. The researched corpus, source material, proposed records and internal database remain private for now. Public examples will be deliberately selected and checked instead of exposing the whole archive by accident.
